Recognized nationwide for our specialized construction services to the Senior Living sector, Lagniappe National is a family owned company.
Lagniappe was started in 1977 by Michael Schmitt III after serving in the Navy SeaBee's (construction battalion). At the time he was the youngest person ever to receive a commercial contractors license in the state of Mississippi. Over the years, Lagniappe Construction became Lagniappe National and our clients became exclusively Senior Living owners and operators.
Lagniappe has over 40 years of national and local construction experience, and our name has become synonymous with quality, integrity, and value. Our beliefs, commitment, and dedication has enabled us to succeed and we will continue to grow and prosper upon this foundation.
